February Children's House News
We have been experiencing a preview of "spring fever" in the classroom over the last few weeks, thanks to the unusually warm weather. The children have noticed many of the signs we usually find in March – blooming daffodils and a few insect visitors to the classroom. This month we will continue our physical science sequence with the study of rocks and minerals and the layers of the earth. This is a sequence that we study each year, and the children are always fascinated with the content. So, now is the time to bring in your favorite "pet rocks" for the class to examine!
